Different beautiful

No one is born to be perfect, but we can choose to make our life perfect. Some people see their defects as obstacles, and then they may lose self-confidence or give up their dream. However, once you change your mind, your defect can be an opportunity to stand out in the crowd. What you want to be all depends on you.

Chantelle Brown Young, a 19-year-old girl coming from Canada, has suffered from Vitiligo when she was 4 years old. She dreamed of becoming a model when she was a child. Unfortunately, Chantelle encountered many difficulties because of the white patches on her dark skin. The bullying started in school, and no one thought she was beautiful. People teased her appearance defect, even called her cow or zebra. The series of frustrations almost destroyed her.

Even though everyone looked down on her, she told herself that she needed to accept her defect, embrace it and enjoy it. To her surprise, her unique appearance caught the attention of the judge, who invited her to vie in cycle 21 of America’s Next Top Model. It was a turning point that changed her life. The white patches were immediately being the spotlight. The girl once deemed that she had lost at the starting line, but she showed her success to manifest that being different was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Nowadays people pursue same kind of fashion, like wearing similar clothes or makeup. We all forget everyone has their own uniqueness, so don’t want to be others. Try to be yourself and love yourself.
